Workshops and Retreats
I offer opportunities for groups of various sizes to explore specific topics in lively creative dialogues. My intention is to create a creative workspace as a group. I want to help people not only find out what they think, but also to find the courage to express their experiences.
I offer seminars focusing on the tradition of Klein, Bion, Tustin and Meltzer. All seminars explore the complexity of the listening process. Seminar topics may include:
*Listening as an Open Gate
*Eight Gates for Listening
*Gathering the Data of a Session
*Mapping the Countries of the Mind
*Obstructive Object Relations
*Exploring the Fate of Pain
*The Second Life of Dreaming
Retreats are informal and conversational. I am an active instructor who freely shares a point of view while also curious about how each participant interacts with the information and the group. Meetings are intended to explore a topic and to make use of the group's experience as part of a learning process.
Ongoing seminars can be arranged to study a specific topic in depth.
Retreats can be half day, full day, or weekends depending upon the interests and size of the group. Retreats provide opportunities to present clinical work as well as study evolving working models.
Visits can also include times for individual consultations (paid separately) if desired.
